Shana Fruchter is an early childhood music and Jewish educator based in New York City and founder of Music with Shana, music for babies and toddlers, and Sababa with Shana, an independent Hebrew school. As a Hebrew School Education Director for the past two years, she developed curriculum, mentored educators, and built a community grounded in creativity and play.
Shana believes the fastest way to engage children is to turn learning into a game. Her classrooms use music, movement, storytelling, and playful games and challenges to make Jewish concepts stick and keep kids excited to come back.
Her philosophy is simple: connection and fun drive meaningful learning. Shana helps educators and families create welcoming spaces where children build a lasting love of music, Jewish life, and lifelong learning through joyful, game-based experiences.
